I need to give China Glaze some more love. The polish colors are so gorgeous and the formulas are fantastic! Today I decided to go with one of my favorite pinks that I definitely don't give enough attention to. It is the color 'Rich & Famous:'
This color is a creamy bright pink. What I love about this color is that it is a blue-toned fuschia pink which I think looks really pretty on my skin tone. This color is definitely bright but manages to look very fresh and clean rather than teenie-bopper-esque.
The formula of this polish is great. Only two thin coats are needed for full opacity and the skinny brush allows those of us with wittle bitty nails to have control of the polish! China Glaze is great for long-wearing polishes as the brand includes nail hardeners in their polishes.
As always, the pups are gettin' in on the picture taking action!
China Glaze polishes are about $8 a bottle and can be found at Ulta and online.

NOTD: China Glaze 'Electrify'
Today's nail of the day is a color from China Glaze's Hunger Games collection, 'Electrify.' This polish layered over a red or white has been my go-to gameday polish! FIGHT ON!

Overall, this glitter polish gets an A+. Plus it's from the Hunger Games collection, so that's cool. May the odds be ever in your favor when you rock this magnificent mani :)

NOTD: China Glaze 'It's a Trap-Eze!'
Today I have a super fun glittery polish from China Glaze's Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away collection. It is the color 'It's a Trap-Eze!'
This is a multi-colored glitter nail polish suspended in a white base coat. The glitters are multi-sized and are green, gold, orange, pink, blue and (most fun of all!), white! The white glitters are what makes this polish truly unique. The absence of silver glitters in this polish make it very pastel and pretty looking rather than too showy. I prefer to layer simply one coat of this polish over a light pink or white, or use one coat of polish on an accent nail if I'm doing a colored polish. Since the glitters are in a milky white base, layering this polish can make it quite thick and a bit messy looking since some glitters end up very dull looking under a layer of white.
Pictured here I painted one coat over Essie Lilacism for a fun accent nail effect. What's fun about this glittery color is that the white tones down the color you're painting over ever so slightly. I find that this can spice up a manicure if I'm bored of the color or regret the color I picked right after I'm done painting my nails! Has anyone else had that 'I immediately regret this decision' moment? This polish can remedy that!
China Glaze polishes can be found at Ulta beauty supply stores and sell for $8 a bottle. They are awesome nail lacquers because they have hardeners in the formula making them quite chip-resistant!
What do you think? Would you rock this glittery color on your nails?

NOTD: China Glaze 'Highlight of my Summer'
Here is another nail of the day post for all you nail polish lovers out there! Today's color is loud and proud:
You'll always be my THUNDERRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Nostalgic yet? Bringin' back senior year of high school memories!
xxSJ
This is 'Highlight of my Summer' from China Glaze's summer 2013 Sunsational collection. The only way I can think to describe this color is neon mint. It's so awesome and simply perfection for the summer time.
It looks great in the sun, in natural lighting, fluorescent lighting, you name it! I noticed at night when I was driving that my nails almost looked glow-in-the-dark... that's how neon we're talkin' with this polish! But hey, for the summer, if it's not neon then it shouldn't be on!
The application of this color was pretty easy. The creamy formulation was the perfect consistency and very opaque. Two coats was plenty to make sure there weren't any sheer spots. The only qualm I have with this color is that it chips fairly easily. The pictures I took were on the second day of wear and there was already noticeable chippage. It's too bad because I would totally love to rock this green for days on end!
I believe this color is a close dupe for OPI's 'Gargantuan Green Grape,' so I would pass on this if you already have that color! This color is not in China Glaze's permanent collection so get it while its still in stock!
China Glaze nail polish is $8 a bottle and can be found at Ulta beauty stores.
Also the name of this polish totally reminds me of this song. Enjoy!

NOTD: China Glaze 'Ruby Pumps'
I'm in a state of mourning due to the 49'ers losing in the Superbowl this past Sunday. Deciding to show my true fandom even after a loss, I painted my nails in commemoration of my favorite NFL team:
I used China Glaze's 'Ruby Pumps' which is a red nail polish with a TON of red glitters in it. This is with out a doubt one of China Glaze's more famous colors because of how beautiful it looks on the nails when you paint two coats on....it has a layered look to it because of the glitters but its still nice and smooth because of the red base the glitters are suspended in.
Next I took Butter London's 'The Full Monty' and added a little gold stripe to my nails to show my fully 49'ers support. With a hand steadier than a brain surgeon's, I think these bad boys turned out pretty well!
Spoiler alert: I'm not actually a huge fan of the NFL. Since I'm from Norcal originally, I felt inclined to root for the 49'ers when they got into the Super bowl but I really wasn't that heartbroken after the loss...actually I didn't care much at all. I just wanted an excuse to paint stripes on my nails.
Everyone have a nearly perfect in every way sorta day!

NOTD: China Glaze 'For Audrey'
Today's nail of the day is 'For Audrey' by China Glaze. It is said that this polish is as close to Tiffany Blue as it gets! I think many girls have a special place in their heart for that Tiffany blue color...I mean, how much does your heart flutter when you see that little blue box???
As you can see it's a beautiful teal blue green color.... it's just gorgeous and is such a happy and cool color :) I have worn this at all times through out the year, even in Fall! I always get compliments when I'm sporting this pretty manicure :)
The application of China Glaze polishes is also awesome and easy. The polish is just the right amount of thickness and the brush is the perfect size for my nails. This polish also has hardeners in it so it lasts forever!
Seeeeeeeeeeeeee? Purty:)
What's your favorite blue nail polish to rock?
