Looking for a bewitchingly beautiful orange to wear on this All Hallow's Eve??? Look no further than today's nail of the day, OPI's Designer Series polish in 'Indulgence.'
This orange shade is gorgeous and such an easy formula to work with. Two thin coats was all I needed to achieve opacity, and as you can see the end result is amazing.
This color is an orange-red base with yellow, red, and gold glitters mixed through out. The glitter manages to stay smooth and almost 3-D looking rather than chunky or metallic. I always get compliments when I wear this polish!
This polish looks amazing under any lighting but is particularly stunning when it catches the sun!
OPI polishes can be found at Target, Ulta, some drugstores and department stores for about $8 a bottle.
What's your favorite orange?

NOTD: OPI 'DS Extravagance'
This nail polish is by far one of my favorites in my collection and it shouldn't be a mystery why. Just look at it! This Designer Series by OPI polish is in the shade Extravagance and it is one of the most complex, gorgeous colors I've ever seen. It looks like there is a little galaxy on my fingers!
This polish is a magenta purple creamy base with purple, gold, red, and silver sparkles mixed through out. The formula is one of the best polishes I've used as it is opaque in just one coat and the glitter adds no chunk or difficult in application whatsoever.
Just look at it!!! When this polish reflects in the light, you are sure to get some oohs and aahs! This color is also so pretty for the fall since it has a darker base and festive fall colors in the glitter!
You can find OPI nail polish for about $8 a bottle at Ulta, some drugstores, department stores, and some Targets.

NOTD: OPI Tutti Frutti Tonga
Today's nail of the day is an old faithful in my polish collection. I don't always gravitate toward this lighter color but when I do I always love it! It is OPI's Tutti Frutti Tonga:
This peachy pink neutral shade has subtle metallic ribbons running through it and it reminds me of silk or satin when its on my nails. Its so feminine and pretty!
I recommend this shade to anyone looking for a pretty light pink or neutral. This is so perfect and easy to apply formula-wise. The polish can be sliiiiightly sheer, which is its only drawback. Some nails required 3 coats for full opacity but the wear is worth it to me!

NOTD: OPI 'Do You Lilac It?'
This girl is still SO READY and excited for Spring, thus the pretty pastels continue. Today's nail of the day is pretty purple by OPI called 'Do You Lilac It?:
This is a perfect medium blue-toned purple shade. A bit darker than Lilacism but not quite as dark as a standard purple color. I love rocking purples on my nails...they just make me so happy! They are a bright and pretty pop of color but you don't get sick of the color too quickly. Very important!
This color has an awesome application and is near opaque in just one coat. Two coats will eliminate any streaks and leave a perfect finish. No pooling at the nail beds or trouble controlling this formula!
I really recommend this shade if you're looking for a pretty purple to add to your collection. It is definitely one of OPI's better formulations. You may have to shake this up if it is sitting for too long as it tends to separate a bit but it's perfectly find after a few good shakes.
OPI nail polishes can be found at ULTA, some department stores and some drug stores for $9 a bottle.
What do you think of this pretty purple?

NOTD: OPI Panda-monium Pink
Today's nail of the day is one of my favorite purpley-pink nail polishes and I was in disbelief when I realized I hadn't ever taken pictures of it! It is OPI's Panda-monium Pink and I freaking love this stuff:
Seriously???? This color is gorgeous. I always consider it more of a purple than a pink but in some lights you can definitely see why it is labeled as a pink color. This color is the most perfect color for the Spring in my opinion and goes well with my favorite color scheme to sport: lavenders, pinks, and cremes.
The formulation of this polish is actually quite thick which I love because it means it will be opaque in only two coats. LOVE that for the lighter pinky colors. This is one of my very favorite polishes and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a subtle way to wear some color on your fingers. This color is quite unique, as well, as I have yet to find a good dupe for it!

NOTD: OPI 'Kiss On the Chic' A Valentine's Day Manicure!
Pink Pink Pink Pink Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink! I love wearing pink on my nails if you haven't gathered that already... my mom surprised me this Valentine's Day with two new nail polishes, one of which I decided to slap on my fingers for a pretty, feminine, V-day mani. It is OPI's 'Kiss on the Chic:'
After the deep and dark colors I've been wearing all Winter, this light pink was well welcomed onto my nails! This pink isn't necessarily terribly unique, but I think the formula of this color trumps other similarly toned pinks I have. This polish took two coats to be fully opaque and I added a very thin third coat on some fingers that had some transparent spots. As I'm writing this, its day two and all nails are dent and chip free! Good stuff :)
Also if anyone's wondering, my accent nail has a layer of Butter London's 'Rosie Lee' on it for extra V-day pizzazz!

NOTD: OPI 'My Favorite Ornament'
Today's nail of the day is from the Mariah Carey for OPI Winter 2013 collection and it is BY FAR my favorite glitter nail polish ever! It is the color 'My Favorite Ornament:'
This polish is a yellowish gold glitter suspended in a clear liquid base. All the finely milled glitters are all the same size and in my opinion, any glitter polish that can hold its own on the nail is well worth it. This polish is completely opaque in only 2 coats but also looks great layered on top of a color.
This color was a staple for me in the winter time as it was so festive but I can also see me wearing it with some pretty pastels in the spring.
This color is SO stunning and I recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome glitter polish. It works great alone, layered on top of another color, or as an accent nail for a fun look.
OPI nail polishes are $8-$9 and can be found at Ulta, some drugstores and some department stores.

NOTD: OPI 'In the Cable Car-Pool Lane'
Today's nail of the day is from the OPI San Francisco Winter 2013 collection. It is the color 'In the Cable Car-Pool Lane.'
Pretty! This color is a deep purple color that finishes to a gel-like shine. So gorgeous and perfect looking! The application of this color was pretty great. The formula itself is rather thin and runny so thin coats will be your best bet for this! The first coat shows up very sheer and is a pinky purple berry color. The second coat finishes the color off though, and thats all I needed to create a nice opaque finish.
This color is so lovely as a dark neutral for the winter and can easily be worn into other seasons if you want to rock a dark nail. As I've mentioned before, I'm lovin the dark and creamy berries, purples, and burgundies for the fall and winter so this color fits right in! From what I've read, this color is pretty dupable, so if you have something similar in your nail polish arsenal already, then maybe you should skip this one! I myself find similarities between this and Essie's Bahama Mama, a color I've had in my collection and loved for a while.
If you're looking for a great, deep, creamy purple to fill a hole in your collection then this is the color to do it with! So gorgeous!
OPI nail polishes retail for $9 a bottle and can be found at Ulta and some drugstores.

NOTD: OPI 'It's My Year'
Today's nail of the day is from the 2011 Miss Universe Collection for OPI. It is the color 'It's My Year:'
This color is a dark shiny purple with a lot of gold reflects in it. Application of this polish was super easy as it was quite opaque in only two thin coats and the polish had a nice consistency making it easy to control and spread. The color shows up a bit lighter on your fingers than it does in the bottle which took me a bit by surprise. Three coats would have probably looked a bit nicer. The wear time of this polish was okay. It started chipping on day two but wasn't easily chipped off once the chipping started. Some of this stuff was really stuck on my nails!! That tends to happen with glittery polishes like this, but I wish it all would have stuck so well rather than some of it chip right off within 36 hours! Overall, I'm feeling impartial toward this polish. I may wear it again but am also not itching to paint it on my fingers anytime soon. If you're looking for a purple and gold color though, this will do the trick for you!

NOTD: OPI 'You Don't Know Jacques!'
Today's nail of the day is of an OPI cult favorite: the color 'You Don't Know Jacques!' Again with the names, OPI, you simply slay me!
This color is a dark taupe. It can look more purple in some lighting and more brown in other lighting. BEWARE! This color can look muddy and utterly unappealing under certain fluorescent lighting. This is something I've noticed that simply can't be avoided and is unfortunate, but the truth. Otherwise this color is really quite a lovely neutral particularly for the Winter time. This color applies very well and is one of my preferred OPI formulas for its consistency. However, even after two coats there is still some splotchiness and nearly transparent parts of my manicure! That's a bit of a letdown considering this color is not even on the lighter end of the color spectrum. Just know that this color requires a bit more TLC upon application. Shine some light on your mani when you think you're done to make sure there aren't any see through spots and you should be good :)
OPI retails for $8.50 for 0.5oz of polish. It can be purchased at ULTA, some drugstores, and some department stores.
Would you rock this brownish taupe?

NOTD: OPI Teal The Cows Come Home
Today's nail of the day is OPI's 'Teal the Cows Come Home.' It is the perfect teal if that's what you're feelin for your mani:
The color was quite opaque after only 2 thin coats and had quite a nice light sparkle to it. I liked that this color wasn't too metallic!! The color is quite bright though, so even though the color was chip free after two days, I had to remove it from my nails because I grew tired of this bright blue on my fingertips.

NOTD: OPI 'I Eat Mainely Lobster'
Calling all OPI snobs!!! Today's nail of the day is an OPI polish that I purchased from Costco in a duo set for only $13! That's quite a deal for OPI! The color I'm sporting today is called 'I Eat Mainely Lobster' and I wound up quite impressed:
This polish is a beautiful coral that is more on the orange side. You can see in the upper left portion of the bottle that there is a very slight shimmer in the polish that actually shows up on the nail! I get SO disappointed when there is shimmer in the bottle then it doesn't show up at all on your mani (Bikini-So-Teeny, anyone??). But this color is true to the bottle. I'm not usually a huge fan of orange polish so this impressed me as an orange that I don't mind staring at all day because of its slightly coral quality.
Only 2 coats needed to reach full opacity for me (hoorah hoorah!) and this color remained chip free for 3 days!
Snag this color up if you're interested in an orangey-coral. This color is beautiful for spring and summer but will definitely be wearable through the fall months. Yay versatility!
OPI polishes can be found at ULTA and some drugstores for $8.50 a bottle.

NOTD: OPI 'You're Such a Budapest'
After the whirlwind of graduation and moving, something finally lit a fire under my toosh to start posting again! The spark? This beautiful nail polish I was wearing today:
This pretty purple from OPI is called 'You're Such a Budapest' (I see what you did there OPI!!) and it is from the Euro Centrale collection. This purple is periwinkle toned and has some very minimal blue microshimmer in it that reflects in the sunlight. Soooooo pretty!
Here it is in slightly different lighting:
This is the first makeup/beauty item in a while that I've gone on a wild goose chase after. I have so much nail polish that I really don't need another bottle...something about this purple really struck me, though! After finding it at one of my local Ultas, I visited and revisited this until I finally decided to make the purchase and I'm glad I did! It's the perfect summer color and different than other purples I own. It also looks great against my pale skin and will look just as beautiful if I gain a bit of color over the summer (wishful thinking on my part, I do declare!).
Something I will say about the application of this polish is that it is quite thin and sheer. It is so watery in fact that the color starting pooling around my cuticles and there were some thin spots after two coats on the top of my nails. Merp-a-derp. I think the slightly tricky application is worth the beautiful pay off, however it's worth the warning that this color requires some diligence during painting!
If you want this color then get your hands on it soon! It is not in the permanent collection.
OPI polishes can be purchased at Ulta and some drugstores for $9 a bottle.

NOTD: 'Bright Lights Big Color' by OPI
Today's notd is a color I haven't worn in FOREVER. It's 'Bright Lights Big Color' by OPI.
As you can see, this color is a sparkly bright orange with some pink to it. I think its a little bit of an orange grapefruit color if there is such a thing.
I think the color is nice and its quite pretty, however I did get tired of it on my nails after a bit. Orange is not a preferred color of mine. If you're looking for a sparkly orange specifically, then this polish fits the bill. If not, then pass on this one!
OPI recently increased the prices of their polish to $9 a bottle... That's pretty steep :( I think I'll only be buying more nail polish when it's bogo. You can find OPI at Ulta beauty stores and at some drugstores. I have seen Target carrying it on multiple occasions as well!

NOTD: 'Pink Friday' with a touch of 'Tart with a Heart'
Today's Nail of the Day is OPI's 'Pink Friday' from the Nikki Minaj collection. Also on one of my nails on both hands I painted a glitter over the top just for some fun and added oomph. We all could use some more ooomph every once in a while!
Pink Friday is a bright bubblegum pink. I always call colors like this one 'princess colors' because its what I imagine a fairytale princess would wear in a storybook :)
This color is super duper opaque and this look was achieved in two coats with my seche vite top coat to add some gloss (shiny! MUST. TOUCH!)
Butter London's 'Tart With a Heart' is a multi color glitter that is mostly beige toned. It's very pretty painted over basically anything because of the mostly beige glitter. It's glitter but still neutral. Keepin it classy.
I like this mani and I've gotten many a compliment on my 'princess nails' :)
OPI retails for about $8 and Butter London retails for $14
What's your favorite color and glitter combo???

NOTD: O.P.I If You Moust You Moust
Today's Nail of The Day is O.P.I.'s If You Moust You Moust. This color is so so pretty! It is a creamy bright pink that's almost purpley in certain lighting. Its so pretty for the summer and would add a fresh and classy pop of color to any outfit. What I love about this is that it isn't completely hot pink or fuschia, but it definitely is still bright!
This polish is from the Minnie Mouse collection so snatch it up while you still can! You won't be disappointed. This color applied so great too! It was completely opaque in two coats. That makes for a happy nail enthusiast :)
Would you rock this nail color??
| This is the color in sunlight. Compared to the first pic, see what I mean about purpley? Just a little??? |

NOTD: O.P.I's Strawberry Margarita
This is O.P.I's Strawberry Margarita. It is the quintessential bright pink for the Summer. It is a pink with blue undertones rather than orange so it is a pure, gorgeous, creamy pink. It doesn't have any shimmers or metallic through it, just pure color! The application was so so easy with this--almost completely opaque in one coat. I ended up doing two just for good measure. This color is in the permanent collection so anyone can get their hands on it. I recommend it for a pretty manicure :)
You can find O.P.I nail polishes at Ulta beauty stores for $8.50 a bottle. Try and hit up Ulta when they are having a buy 2 get 1 free sale to maximize your dollar if you don't like splurging on polish!

NOTD: Just Spotted The Lizard
Today I'm sportin a color from O.P.I.'s Amazing Spiderman collection, 'Just Spotted the Lizard.'
I think two pictures are necessary to capture how frikin cool this color is!!! It's goldish green in some lighting, but when in the shade or darker lighting, there is a dark green/blue that shines through this color.
You can kind of get an idea of this color's innate awesomeness by looking at all the colors in the bottle, but really, you just gotta try this manicure out yourself to understand how amazed I am by this color! I got so many compliments while I was wearing it (by girls and guys alike!) and as an added bonus, this color is an exact dupe for Chanel's 'Peridot' nail polish. Google comparison photos and you'll see what I mean.
Would you wear this reptilian color on your fingertips?

NOTD: Nail Of The Day! Pedal Faster Suzi!
Today I'm wearing a new nail polish I just picked up from Ulta! It's O.P.I's 'Pedal Faster Suzi!' (please don't mind my super short nails...I got stressed and was pickin at them! Whoops!):
As you can see its a pink with blue undertone with a lot of glitters through out it. In the bottle it looks exactly like the color 'Pando-monium Pink' that I just got except with shimmer. It looks SO similar in fact that I was made fun of for purchasing practically the same color! Good news is that the color shows up different on the nails, different enough to warrant having both colors.
Also, I finally bought Seche Vite top coat:
I don't know how I considered myself a nail enthusiast with out this top coat!!! I was using O.P.I.'s top coat and their nail envy which are both great, but Seche Vite was so lovely. It dries super fast and makes my nails so shiny. We'll see how long it'll take for my nails to chip with this baby on top of em!
